i went scoutting last wed and found some water oaks dropping next to a cattle watering hole. it was loaded with deer sign. i went in fri morning and at 7:15 a small 8 point in full velvet comes in. at 23 yards and very slightly quartering to me i slip a rage rightbehind his shoulder took out both lungs and he went about 80yds. my first ever velvet buck!! on the way out i look over by the other water oak on my way out and saw a nice buck standing under it. so sat morning i go back and hunt it. at 7:15 again a big 7 point walks out at 26 yards quartering hard away from me i put a rage through his back and straight up through his lungs. he went about 100 yds and was out. he was 201 lbs with a 22" neck and my best alabama bow buck to date. the good Lord was smiling down on me this weekend. he blessed me with the best hunting weekend of my life!!!! here are some pics of the 8 point in velvet   here is a pic of the 7 point
