i went scoutting last wed and found some water oaks dropping next to a cattle watering hole. it was loaded with deer sign. i went in fri morning and at 7:15 a small 8 point in full velvet comes in. at 23 yards and very slightly quartering to me i slip a rage rightbehind his shoulder took out both lungs and he went about 80yds. my first ever velvet buck!! on the way out i look over by the other water oak on my way out and saw a nice buck standing under it. so sat morning i go back and hunt it. at 7:15 again a big 7 point walks out at 26 yards quartering hard away from me i put a rage through his back and straight up through his lungs. he went about 100 yds and was out. he was 201 lbs with a 22" neck and my best alabama bow buck to date. the good Lord was smiling down on me this weekend. he blessed me with the best hunting weekend of my life!!!!
