We put in drip tape this year for the garden.....what time of day do yall think the optimal time to water would be? I assume very early morning... but want to try & be efficient as possible.

I run the drip late in the afternoon up into the night. I shut it off usually around 10-11pm for most veggies. For corn I do early mornings and late afternoons. I alternate corn patches every 3 days. I’m just barely keeping up right now because it’s so hot a dry down here.

Man those are some good details. I have it all on the same main line...so I may need to add in some of the valves to separate the corn from the rest.

My grandad has about 500 ft of soaker hoses and runs them anytime he thinks something needs it...I hate moving them things around all the time

If you have enough water to cover it all you’re fine. My corn patches are pretty good size and I can run the well enough to do them all at one time so I just space them out.
