Just go to www.tripadvisor.com Foley and look for hotel rankings and read current reviews! I never stay anywhere without checking reviews

We rented a room there 15 years ago. Can't remember the name of the place, it was last minute. U shaped building. Drug infested, prostitution infested and bedbug infested. We didn't know until we drove around back of the place. I checked it out before letting family out of the truck. We bounced immediately and got a refund. Had to threaten to call the health department to get the refund. Drive around the place before even getting out. If the structure has exterior access doors, you probably don't want to stay there unless it's got the following or similar names...JW, Westin, Four Seasons, Ritz, Fairmont. Live by that and you'll probably be at least decent. Four Seasons and Ritz should at least be decent

I live in Foley and haven't compared costs, but I'd look elsewhere. Days Inn looks pretty sketchy. I'd try the new hotels around OWA if the price isn't crazy. What is OWA?

Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast is great spot for a girl's trip to the area located on beautiful tree covered Oak Street. Very safe but may be booked up. Magnolia Springs is a great little town. My parents used to live on Oak Street. I told them about this place. They cancelled the Days Inn and got a room there. It was actually cheaper then the hotel room. My wife said it’s a really nice place. Thank y’all so much for all the information. I’m just wanting to keep them safe from a long distance away. I knew I could count on y’all.

Hope they have a good time! Fun fact about Magnolia Springs and it's history: For those that live on the Magnolia and Fish Rivers, they still get their mail delivered by a postman in a jon boat! https://www.thisisalabama.org/2019/...s-back-to-early-1900s-in-baldwin-county/An integral part of that history, and the community itself, is the U.S. Postal Service’s Magnolia Star River Route — the only year-round service of its kind in America. So, when Mark Lipscomb’s aluminum skiff cruises without wake under the canopy of pines and oak on Magnolia or Fish Rivers, it’s not crab traps, skis or fishing tackle piled at the bow, but letters, packages and the roots of an institution dating back to 1916.
