My wife and a friend are going pick up some furniture her friend bought in Gulf Shores. They are wanting to get a hotel room in Foley. How is the area? Is it a safe place for them to stay? I think they are looking at the Days inn.

We lived in Foley for about 6 years and over all it’s is pretty safe. Been in Clanton now for about four years but still go back and visit friends they should be good.

I was a finalist to be the Police Chief in Foley awhile back and did some research and was given the grand tour. There are a few places they want to avoid but that will be readily apparent. Unless they are looking for trouble or dope they won't find themselves in those places so they will be fine. I imagine they will be on the main drag or OWA so no problems at all.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The whole gov't puts great emphasis on Traffic Control. When I interviewed with the Council they cited that as the biggest problem in Foley.

The last time I passed on that road there was no chance at speeding. Damn the traffic

Tip from a local. Use the Beach Express to get to Foley off of I-10. Have them stop at Buc-ee's to use their restrooms. Finest place to put ones behind! They are definitely going to Bucees I’ll pass the information on to them about t e Beach Express

I’ll be coming through there today. They need some help loading furniture? That’s mighty kind of you but wherever she bought the furniture will load it for them. I think it’s some type of patio table and chairs.

Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast is great spot for a girl's trip to the area located on beautiful tree covered Oak Street. Very safe but may be booked up. Magnolia Springs is a great little town. My parents used to live on Oak Street.

We rented a room there 15 years ago. Can't remember the name of the place, it was last minute. U shaped building. Drug infested, prostitution infested and bedbug infested. We didn't know until we drove around back of the place. I checked it out before letting family out of the truck. We bounced immediately and got a refund. Had to threaten to call the health department to get the refund. Drive around the place before even getting out.

Neither one of them is right in the head. Especially the blond one that will be with my wife.

If the structure has exterior access doors, you probably don't want to stay there unless it's got the following or similar names...JW, Westin, Four Seasons, Ritz, Fairmont. Live by that and you'll probably be at least decent.

And the one in Foley Marsh will be full of white trash beach goers that can’t afford to stay on the other side of the canal. There’s a couple of new hotels right by the Cracker Barrel across from Lambert’s that will be a way better place to stay if it’s not to late.
