Tossing around the idea of booking a semi-guided hunt for next season. Not real sure where I want to go. I would like to go hunt either merriams or rio’s for sure. I would also like it to be within reasonable driving distance to make everything easier. If anyone has and recommendations on outfitters or even what state I would appreciate. And if anyone would like to get together and go that’s even better

Nowhere is reasonable driving distance. Fly southwest and rent a car through Turo. Otherwise you spend 3 of your days traveling and recooperating from your traveling and you probably didn’t save much money by driving

If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!

I can put you on a Rio outfitter in KS.

What do you consider reasonable driving distance?

I've got several outfitters that offer Merriam's and I got outfitters that offer Rio's.

This. I was always paranoid about having a gun lost or flights being delayed etc. but I finally decided to give flying a shot. I will absolutely never do one of those 20 hour drives again. If it’s more than a 8-10 hour drive, I’m flying.

I would consider 8-12 reasonable. Around 15ish would probably be my max

From where?

Merriam's will be tough for a 15 hour drive from anywhere in Bama.
