I used to hunt Wilcox years ago and it was fine hunting. I'm hearing its not so great anymore especially when you factor in all the thieves in the area, is this true? There are pockets here and there that are still good and I have yet to have anything stolen in the 12-15 yrs of hunting in the area. Owning a camp house in the area is my only real motivation to not venture to other parts of the state.

They posted this 1,400ac in Lowndes Co. a couple days ago on agora.org: https://afoa.org/hunt.htmI’d love to hunt in that area but $15/ac and deer hunting only?!? Says they want a group of 3-4 so that’s at least $5250 per person, doesn’t say if insurance is included. Then planting and a camp house???? $8k a year per person by the time all is said and done. I’ll keep my money and hunt Lowndes WMA!
