There are seasons on trapping Bob cats . If out of season you can not legally kill them they have to be turned loose.

I guess I'm right

I'm talking about getting the trap off the foot . How do you stop him from grabbing you with the other feet

Choke it out with your catch pole. Carotid arteries are exposed on cats. Once its knocked out, release from trap and stand back and film while it regains consciousness. Sounds and hallucinations while it comes back to its senses are entertaining.

Learned from youtube but saw firsthand that it works. Turned out I released a turkey murderer but it works.

Once you get'em behind the neck they're just like any house cat.

Send pics when you get one.

I've released em by putting a 5 gallon bucket over them, pull the foot out and open trap, knock bucket over, and RUN LIKE HELL.....

I don't trap or kill them . I was wondering how they were let loose . I don't see them killing a guy but I bet they could cause a little damage
