I tell everyone they need to hunt Texas at least once or twice, but it will ruin you how much game they have of all types. And they can seriously manage deer in Texas. Best state to hunt IMO for an all around good time while being productive too. And Texans are a good bunch. Conservative, family values, hard drinking hard working but know how to have fun and cook Texas style food. I lived there in my teens and go back often. I cherish every trip there
