Had the tactical model for 3 or so years now and i haven't had one hiccup performance wise. Only issue i had, was it had to be sent back for a safety recall, which was smooth n easy and i even got a nice new mag out of it lol

I have one. Great little gun. Good backpack weapon.

I dont like my 22/45's as well as I do the old std marks. They do fine, but not as well as the std units. Wife has a NRA unit (pretty) and hates it! IDK exactly why but she only likes its looks.

I would get a nice used Mark II or a Mark IV Target or Hunter before I got a 22/45, just for the wider grip selection. I'm not a fan of the top-heavy feel of the 22/45 since it has a polymer frame.

However, there is no shame in the 22/45 game. As said above, great backpack or fishing boat pistol.

My mkii is my favorite gun ever it's long and heavy but I can pop bottle caps at 20 yards all day...I can't even begin to count the critters I've killed with that gun mainly snakes n turtles...last time I took it rabbit hunting with some old folks n they smirked when they saw that's all I had....I'm the only one that killed a rabbit that day lol

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

got the lite towards the end of january for me and my 5year old to use trapping. i use subsonics and is suppressed. we would always end up shooting a magazine worth of ammo. super simple to clean and break down. zero issues with it thus far and it’s ran perfectly even when it needed cleaning. highly recommend
