Need to find a used Utrip youth boys bat if possible. Older is fine. Just looking for a decent older model with some pop left in it. Prefer a 30 inch bat. Something like an old Mako, in that range.

Bought my son a string king metal.. it has been the talk of middle school. Friend of mine bought his 9 y/o one and was the talk of the park... under $100 dollars mailed to your door brand new

Think I found a used Demarini CF6 - anybody have any history?

We’ve got a bunch of crappy USA bats, but found out we could go back to Utrip in a league. Done outgrown what we had.

I don’t have any history with that one but we have had great luck with Mauruci. My son has a Cat 7 and a Cat 9. Both are aluminum and not composite. His Cat 7 actually has more pop in it.

I have his first composite bat on the way. It is a Demarini voodoo. I’m hopeful it will be hotter than the Mauruci but I’m not sure it will be.

My son never had luck with composite bats.. he isn’t a real strong kid he always had better luck out of the aluminum or whatever they are made of now

One of the kids on my sons team had thst bat (demarini cf6). It seemed to hit fine, but Im pretty sure it got busted in the cold weather. My son currently has two easton ghost bats a 30/22 and a 32/22. I really like those.

Younger son has a cat 9 28/18 and it makes a lot of noise but I dont think it has more pop than the other bats. But it sure sounds like it would.

We bought all our bats either on sale or used for less than $100 a bat.

If you haven't already, check Facebook Marketplace in your area....it's basically the new craigslist. Bought GomerJr a lightly used Marucci for like $50 a couple weeks ago.

Not that appearance matters, but if you buy used and want to clean it up, a magic eraser is your friend.
