Looks like Minneapolis awoke a 22 year old man during a no knock who was innocent and had a CCW permit inside an apartment shooting and killing him when he reached for a gun. We as gun owners should absolutely be against no knock warrants as the consequences can be deadly. His name was Amir Locke. I agree, no knocks are wrong. If police executed one at my house they'd be met at gunpoint too.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Radical thought along with the shooter charge whomever asked for and approved the warrant. Because no warrant no death.

I don’t have a problem with them under the right circumstances and rock solid intel. Y’all must have been able to find more than me on this situation. Why was his house being raided and what is his criminal history? All I can find is how his parents thought he was great and a summary of all his hopes and dreams. I saw one article that seemed to suggest they were there as part of a homicide investigation. Any truth to that? I would hate to see the hands of police tied even more by a blanket ban on no knock warrants. Let’s say you are a cop and ordered to go serve this no knock warrant. What are you supposed to do when a guy under a blanket rolls over, gun in hand...a turn off the wrist from being pointed at you. Those guys were literally a fraction of a second from very possibly being shot at. I bet these guys new what kind of person they were dealing with before they entered. Most likely one or more of their careers are over for doing what they are told. I’m just going to guess this guys isn’t an angel when the dust settles, but I’ll hold on to that until all the facts come out. ***Edit*** Just found another article with more info. Clears up some of my questions above. https://www.google.com/amp/s/bringm...sues-new-statement-on-amir-locke-killing

The cops will likely be charged. The judge that approved the warrant and the high ranking officer who gave the orders will be allowed to continue shitting on the constitution.
This is something we voted for in the name of safety. Defund the police is probably the dumbest idea I've ever heard, but there should be some demilitarization. You can blame the proliferation of No Knock Warrants on “The War on Drugs”

They didnt do a no-knock SWAT without a reason. They had a warrant to get the key from the apartment manager. So it is going to be interesting to find out how the warrant came to be. My guess is that there is an ongoing investigation possibly involving multiple suspects.

No, there have been instances of that happening and if the person was innocent they do not get charged with shooting the officer. No knock warrants are unnecessary way more often than not.

Something isn't right with this. Did anybody see them open the door with a fraking key? Also I heard them announce police search warrant about 20 times loud. Yes it was a mistake, but his dumbass had to be deaf if he didn't hear that. Not to mention stupid for trying to grab a gun when they are announcing that. Lastly this is Minneapolis the epitome of this black lives matter BS. frak Minneapolis What if he was actually deaf?
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I agree, no knocks are wrong. If police executed one at my house they'd be met at gunpoint too. Might be better, if the police are 100% sure theyre guilty, and they know theyre likely to shoot at them, if they just sit on top of the building across the street and snipe them out. Save a trial and us having to feed them for thirty years. Im for much more punishment, not less. I figure by the time they get to the no knock warrant, they pretty well know whats going on in there. They arent coming to my door or yours Fur. If they wanted us for something, theyd call or send a letter and we would get in the truck and drive down there.
