I just got back from a three day trip to Arkansas. Shot a limit of speckle bellies on Friday and duck hunted Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday hunt was pretty disappointing, too much ice and not enough clear water for them to land. Sunday we hunted a reservoir and saw at least a thousand ducks but they were in the very middle in the open water. Had too much ice to break through to get to them. Probably one of my coldest trips ever. Friday it was 16 degrees with a 5 degree wind chill. I was hunting around Lonoke and Carlisle.

Lots and lots died today. I wasn't there, but started getting pictures at 10-11 am with tailgates full of greenheads.
