got a call from Doctor Young yesterday. Without a doubt a torn Labum. He has refered me to his Partner Dr. Hovater at the Bone and Joint in Florence. HE did Dr. Young's son's Labrum so Im confident he is good. He also trained under Andrews from B-ham. Doc stressed how important taking it easy and rehab was so that it healed and no #2 surgery would be needed. I told him I know that I will hunt and risk damage and he told me not to have it untill a time I new I would rest and rehab correctly. He couldnt believe I was pulling a bow though. Hell its torn now to the point of surgery so we both figured wait till after the rut and then do It to allow for 7-8 weeks rehab before we start Playing Baseball(I just coach.) Thanks to you all who posted your experiences. I told you I would update you when I heard.

Thats why he refered me to the other guy, he still makes incisions and Dr. H does it with a scope. He said 6 weeks in a healthy person untill light duty could resume. My thing will be can I swing a fungo in 6 wks and He thought that was likely. Anyway I got till after the rut to figure it out now. My wife begged me to wait till I was finished hunting. She knows me well.

Well talked to the Surgeon Yesterday, Explained everything and we have the Surgery scheduled for Jan. 6th. He agreed that if its torn up already wait till I was ready have it done when I would rehab properly. So now Im done whinning about it. I just hope I whackem from now to x-mas and during the first few days of the rut.
