I thank yall for praying for my mother. She has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. We really dont know much more than that. I wanted to tell yall fellas a little bit about this situation so that your prayers might be specific. I know in a number this big, some of you truly know the Lord and will bear my petition. My mom and dad divorced when i was 6yo and not long after i ended up with my daddy. I always loved my mama but was closer to my daddy, i guess. I never lived with mama any more except for about the last 6mos of my senior year in highschool. Mama married her highschool sweetheart after that. He was a partier so they kinda lived a mild most of the time party lifestyle. My mama hated my daddy and has said, on more than one occasion, "i hate Joe Walker" and quickly followed that with "youre just like your daddy". Needless to say, we havent always had the best relationship, but i love my mama just like yall love yalls mamas and i would do anything in the world for her. I feel like the Lords been telling me the past few months she was gona be leaving soon. I e been trying to call her a little more often and such. I thought maybe she wasnt gona make it through the surgery but now i guess i know what hes been trying to tell me. I know im fixin to lose my mama. I have a little different view of death than most. The part that concerns me the most is that im not sure where shes going after this. Several years ago, i could tell she was trying to figure some things out about spirituality and God. We talked about a few things but i never really got a warm fuzzy feeling about it. I dont know if my mama is lost or maybe she got saved a long time ago and ole satan has just had his way with her to the point that all seems like a movie she watched as a little girl. I dont have a whole lot of friends really. I have a few and theyre good ones and theyre praying. I consider many of you on this site friends and others brothers in Christ. I ask you to pray for my mama. Not for her life here but fro the life to come. I know shes leaving and i might could have a little peace about it if i knew i would see her again some day. There was a time in my life when i really needed some prayers answered. I asked everyone i ran into who could get a prayer through to pray. I reckon the Lord got tired of me pestering him and granted my prayer. Well here i am again. Please pray for my mama. Thank yall so much, you dont know what it means.

My prayer is for God to send someone to your mother so that they can talk to her about eternity, which is real. Very real. I also pray that her mind and heart would be open to God and his spirit. Keep this one thing in mind. No-one on this earth knows your mothers heart, when it comes to her relationship with God, except her and God, not even you. I pray that she may find Christ if she doesn't know him and if she does, I pray that He draws her into a closer relationship with Him. I also pray that you find peace about it all.
