Anyone have one of the newer models? Looking for opinions on how they stack up against a tundra mainly. Thinking about looking at a newer truck this next year, an would like to get something reliable.

I know a guy who swears by them Titans and he drives like a bat outta hell everywhere he goes. If it holds up to his driving then it’s gotta be a good truck.

They have been very good to me. i have owned 2 and currently in a paid for 2014 Pro-4X. I've been pulling a wakeboard boat and a Ranger 1000 ever since I've had them. No tranny issues or engine issues in either. Now it might turn into a pile of trash tomorrow but I'll buy another one as soon as my kids get of college. My 2 cents.

I know a guy who does contracting for Amazon and Home Depot. He pulls trailers all over the country.

He’s had every brand and said the Nissan Titan was the best truck he’s ever owned.

Comparing it to a Tundra, you are going to get the same gas mileage, but the resell value is going to be lower than a Toyota.

I’ve yet to talk to anyone that owns a Titan that has anything negative to say about them, so they must be well made trucks.

Most any mechanic shop I've talked to says they rarely see them or a tundra other than routine maintenence. I like them, but don't have one. I've test drive a few before. I settled on a Tundra, but would drive a Titan in a second.

If I was looking for a new truck they would be in the running. I know 4 guys that have the diesel ones that love them. If I get one it’ll be a gas one. They look good lifted as well.

I’m curious how one with a Cummins in it holds up.

I had a 2012 pro4x it would as ok.i put true dual magnaflows on it sounded great and had 35's on it.little smaller on inside than all the competition and definitely not as much power as the other trucks I've had.
Main thing with the old titans was differentials going out and really bad axle seals everything else good to go.hopefully new models got all that fixed but have no idea.
I wouldn't trade my 2020 ram fir anything and my buddy jt has a 2021 and tells me everyday he's glad he listened to me and bought a new model ram

As i type im working on 2016 cummins with 75,000 on it. Great running motor but no one will work on it but the dealer. There are hardly any nissan dealers compared to other makes. There is one "certified" nissan diesel tech in hoover, and they share him with other dealers. Great till it breaks.

Like any other vehicle it’s 50/50 love/hate with all the people I know. I am a Chevy guy myself but I do believe Nissan makes a good truck.

I'm positive also but ,if you are buying used , I've got three that come in to the shop for pm services and all seem to be happy with them. one is used by a pool service and he has the most mile and swears by it.
