I recently purchased 6 boxes of 6.5 creemoor 127 grain lrx which I have never purchased before, and itlooks like they aren’t pressed in all the way, but since all 6 boxes look the same I thought I would check with you guys, is this how the lrx’s supposed to look? Or did I get a bad batch?

After looking again it looks like land marks on the end of the bullet what is the COAL? Either way they are fine to shoot

I’m not a reloader so I’m not sure what COAL is?

Those look fine to me - lots of the monos have grooves or bands in them to decrease bearing surface. I think my 270 TTSXs have a visible band but I’m not around them to look

Coal= Cartridge OverAll Length. Trust me it kinda stinks when you push your bolt forward and feel a gentle bump then you can't unload the blankety blank cusswords rifle. And when you DO get it open there's powder in your action a primed case and Oh yeah STILL a bullet in your barrel you have to get out...or so I've heard.

Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

It’s fine. All ttsx, tsx and lrx have bands/grooves.

It’s fine. The round on the left is a 6.5 PRC 120gr TTSX.

That PRC looks sweet with the long sleek bullets!

I do think you mean the one on the right, blue tip and band showing.

Thanks guys, first time I have seen that, and was a little skittish to shoot one. Looking forward to trying the lrx’s out.
