Oh , I thought this was a poll, didn't know you were shopping . Doubt you'll find a nice FN High Power for sale , you may not wanta give up a kidney anyway.
If I wanted a using gun, I'd look for a A-Bolt II stainless stalker in a short action caliber I like. There’s a FN High Power chambered in 308 on Gunbroker right now. It’s beautiful.

After owning nothing but Abolts for 25 years I swore I’d never buy an x bolt
Then I handed and shot one
I sold all my abolts but the first one my dad bought me in 1994.
Just my experience.

Just looked at it , WOW! Nice, long extractor , Medallion grade with original case and paper work . If it were an odd caliber like say .257 Roberts that would fetch $4,000 +.

Was kind of disappointed I did not purchase yesterday after I got home - it has gotten very expensive to play - that what held me up some. I will go local some - Village Pawn has always had great prices in butler - I got to put out scope thread now - gone cost little more than I thought and I prob want feel so smart after I do it. I would never consider Leupold but guys on here last season was saying way to go Thanks again

I had a guy quote me $299 on an Optika5 2-10x42 (I think I remember that right) last week. I will be buying one soon. I looked through a couple last week that I liked.

A Meopta Optika5 is a great pairing. I do prefer having the side focus parallax adjustment on any rifle that I might shoot out past 100 yards. I have 2 Opitika5 scopes and a friend has one a 3-15 on her .270. So far she's 2 for 2 on 1 shot stops and couldn't be happier. We dialed in her rifle for maximum point blank impact with a 5 inch vitals zone. I think she's pretty much in the zone out to 280 yards or something close to it. For the money, you can't beat Meopta quality, not boasting, it's a fact.

The Meopta I hav I can’t tell any difference against the Conquest and the Zeiss was few hundred more dollars amd these are both way bettr than the varyx3 I had 25 years ago
Wanting to see if lot of these guys still saying VX5HD bettr than these like they were last year
The vary X 3 I use to hav 25 years ago was not good at all - can’t speak for the current - what I hav now way ahead of the old varyX3 - I had some good deer get away from me back then - took me forever to determine they we’re good - I could still see the deer 100 yards away w my naked eye - just was not hardly any improvement w the scope - by time I determined - deer was leaving - last minute r 2 of legal

I have a Leupold VX-5HD 4-20x52 with the FireDot Duplex and it's very impressive.
