There's a golf cart place in the Pike Road area. If they can't fix it, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Jay industrial in Montgomery works on electric motors. Not certain they would work on something that small though.

Call Simmons Battery in Montgomery (334) 523-0473 and ask them. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity to upgrade to a new high torque motor

There’s more to it than simply upgrading to a higher torque motor. You also have to upgrade the wires, controlled and solenoid.

Doesn't HAVE to be. I needed a motor for one once, and came across a smokin deal on a purple motor (big name?) used. It was just like the stock one, until I did upgrade the conrtroller and wiring. It could handle the extra amps and RPMS's but it ran fine till I decided to upgrade. Keep your eyes open for a used aftermarket motor, sometimes folks do some upgrading and sell em right.

Junk it and get a gas powered buggy.

What you see in these golf carts is what’s going to happen with battery powered vehicles. They too will become disposable faster than a gas powered vehicle.
