Crap when we went to Uchee there was a pic of one that was a 13 point that didn’t meet either criteria. Gw said he couldn’t blame the guy hot shooting him.

Crap when we went to Uchee there was a pic of one that was a 13 point that didn’t meet either criteria. Gw said he couldn’t blame the guy hot shooting him. I met the hunter who shot that buck. Said he wasn’t allowed to register for another SOA hunt for a year or so. He didn’t care. The buck was amazing.

Said he wasn’t allowed to register for another SOA hunt for a year or so. He didn’t care. The buck was amazing. Me and someone would be having a conversation assuming the buck aged 4+. The rules are to protect young bucks. We shouldn’t be punishing hunters when the buck meets the AGE criteria they are ultimately after.

Guy last year at Portland landing killed a really pretty 10pt the first afternoon. The biologist literally showed him pictures where it had been coming to a clover patch every afternoon and told him to go kill it. Probably a 130” deer. It took some fudging with that tape measure to make one main beam 18&1/4”.
