I’d say whichever has the better BC. Are you stuck with only those two choices? I think there are some better projectiles available.

Hunt with the one your rifle likes best. They’ll both kill a pine goat

Tru dat! I guess just because one has a better BC than the other doesn’t necessarily mean that your rifle/barrel will shoot it any better.

I've had good luck with 95 gr ballistic tips with my reloads and use 4064 powder.

BC means nothing to 95%+ of all hunters. Shoot what your rifle likes. I've got experience with both the Pro Hunters and Speers in 243. ProHunters shoot better for me but I don't normally get an exit so I wait for better shots. The Speers aren't quite as accurate but seem to be tougher. Both kill.

I guess you can lump me in with the 5% then. I like hitting where I'm aiming regardless of the wind and distance.

Between them two bullets you listed in your original post, there isn't a dime's difference in their BC. Neither of them would be considered a high BC bullet.

Which is why I asked if those were his only choices. Personally, I wouldn't use either one but if that's all he's got........

Just load them. You'll be fine.

As others have said use what your rifle shoots the best. Dont think you can go wrong with either.

TTSX 80gr I used to load these for my son and they were very good. We had great success with them.

Or even better 95 grain LRX if your barrel will stabilize them. If not the 80’s are a fine bullet

I know this has been beat to death, but my youngest boy killed his first deer after Christmas with a 70gr ballistic tip. And yeah, I know those are supposedly varmint rounds, but it absolutely devastated that yearling spike. 60 yd shot, with a nice exit wound, and the deer made it 30 yds out of the plot. I've seen deer run further shot with a 7-mag. He'd practiced with and was comfortable with the rifle and the rounds and knew where the vitals were for proper bullet placement, and that "varmint" pill worked beautifully. Don't pigeon hole yourself into thinking there are only 2 or 3 options for deer in a 243.
