Aren't scents illegal if they're from real deer, and not synthetic?

You can use ATA certified scents Clem. They supposedly come from CWD free facilities.

Urine and tarsal glands off of a real deer have worked for me several times over the years......When I was a teenager I killed a spike and saved the pee out of him......took it to another property a couple days later where I opened it and dropped it out of my stand right after daylight......It took less than 10 minutes and I had another spike coming into it with its nose bouncing looking for the other deer.....I shot him too.

My entire hunting life, seen 1 deer actually follow the scrape I made with Tinks 69 in it. He literally followed that scrape and me back up the hill where I was standing lol

Only reason I buy that stuff anymore is just to put on boots as cover scent while walking.

Don't waste your $$!

I have had good luck with scents. Both laying a scent trail as well as hanging a drag rag out. I like Code Blue Scents the last few years.
