The 236lbs is a give away too. Lol

Gives it away it's high fence ? That 236 live weight or field dressed? confused

I've seen a couple that dressed over 200. Bunch that dressed over 170. KILLED IN BAMA

Very common for mature bucks up here to go well over 200lbs on the hoof. I killed one about 5 years ago that went 204 field dressed.

My guess, if that deer's live weight was 236 it dressed about 190 ,, 195

A two year old pen deers gona weigh about that or more. It would take 5-6yrs for a wild deer to get there. Thats not 100% of the time but most likely

I talked to a fella yesterday who runs a high fence operation. Wild and storebought deer. The storebought deer theyre killing are around 200+ inches at 2yo, well over 200lb. Thy killed a wild deer this week that was 6yo. It was over 200lb, i think he said around 150 inches. I asked him if he could tell a difference in that deers attitude. He said it came straight out to the feeder and knocked one of the bigger younger deer down. He said he could tell the difference very easy by color and the hair.

I just learned something. They don't look that big on tv. Guess it's hard to tell when your looking at 10 ,,,15 in a pen together

I think it is just an old great wild buck. Antlers don't have the telltale white color as penned up deer and the junk around the bases from the high protein feed pellets.

You got pics of one that would score 186 or better that’s what this deer supposed to have scored.

I too hunt within 5 miles of where this one was killed and I can tell you the genetics here aren't quite that. Going north up towards Windham Springs, the Michigan strain gene can produce something like that. Not saying it couldn't have been a free range deer, but it's certainly not common - and there are quite a few folks in this area that do a lot better job in letting them grow.

The angle that the picture is taken from is helping the deer a lot…..It’s a cool looking freaky rack but there’s really nothing about it that’s above and beyond what many areas are capable of producing. It’s only about 17 inches wide or so and pretty much a main frame 7 point that grew a double main beam and some trash……Some of them do that with age……That brow tine on the right really adds to it.

If it scored 186 like they say it don’t need much help.

That score very well may be right but it seems high........Lets just say that the extra main beam is 20 inches long........Do you see 166 inches on the rest of that main frame seven point rack?? All the trash is cool but there really aint that many inches worth of it....maybe 10 or so......How many mass measurements are taken on a deer with extra beams?
