Any of y'all been to the 360 Grille? Seems pretty pricey. Is it worth it? The wife and I are going to be up that way for a weekend, wanting to get some aldeer input. Thanks

Been up here 15 years now and never heard good enough things to go. Now George's Steak Pit in Sheffield is a different story. It's pricey too but always worth every penny.

The food is not great, but that can be said for most places these days. I took my wife for her birthday a while back. She had lamb, i had duck. I couldnt tell the difference between them. Neither were really good. We got there and was able to watch the sun set as we ate. That was nice. I dont regret going but we probably wont go again. It cost about $160 for the two of us to eat. I wouldnt pay $20 for that meal again. The experience was ok. I used to fish at wilson dam when i was in high school and i always wanted to eat up there. 20yrs later i finally did.

George’s in Sheffield is the best around for high quality grub. 360 is ok if you want a nice unique place to eat, not great food. Riccatonies IMO has gone down in quality the last couple times I ate there it was crowded loud and the food was ok. Pizza looked good. Lasagne was terrible. One place we found was stanfields lakeside grill at McFarland park. Has a seafood based menu but everything was good and prices were ok. A great little hole in the wall place for the best fish and shrimp is lashes near wheeler dam. Great price and down home. Hope you enjoy the shoals. We love it up here.

Thanks I'm sure we will enjoy it. Never have knocked around up in that area. Dismals Canyon is why we're coming, also gonna try Cane Creek nature preserve, and probably Natural bridge. Only eating joint we've decided on is the Rattlesnake Saloon, maybe it will be ok.

Best two recommendations you're gonna get.

Absolutely terrible!!!! I'd rather eat at Taco Bell than go there again and I absolutely despise Taco Bell. Took the wife there for our Anniversary and even the dessert was bad. Didn't pay for any of it and still thought I had been ripped off. We ended up stopping at Wendy's
The views were great and could not have asked for a better sun set. That's the only positive thing I can say about it

This fella' speaks the truth!!! Georges is the best steak in the South year after year. Been eating there for over 40 years and I have never had a steak that wasnt great.

Riccatones is now surrounded by homeless who bum you for change when you leave. The owner was very vocal to the local councils about the homeless that are numerous in the downtown area all to no avail. There is a shelter about a mile away and they flock to the local businesses during the day to bum money.

For a white table meal, Rays at the Bank is good. Oddette for an eclectic meal that has seasonal offerings in downtown Florence. George’s is really good but haven’t been in a while. Riccatonis is good but the BLM protest and homeless folks made it rough but has calmed down now. Downtown Florence offers some off the wall eateries that are good depending on what you’re looking for. Both Stanfield locations are solid.

I hate 360 has gone down hill. It used to be first class

Ricatoni’s is in downtown Florence and to me it’s just ok Italian. If you want real Italian hit the Hanover district in Boston. No comparison.

Dales went downhill before it closed. Lots of jokes about why it was so dark in there. It was very good food though. Pork chops were great but only had once since it was a steak house. Really good French onion soup

George’s is really good and their off menu items are really good. Not sure if they’re still doing off menu items since we haven’t been since this Covid mess.
