been stung by yellow jacket on the knuckle of you finger? I would bet you would remember if you had because four hours has past and it still throbs. Hate those little 🐝 !!!

Now scorpion stings last me about 4 days itching

One stung me on the eyeball. I had a little catfish at the beach fin me in a knuckle. I begged daddy to just cut my finger off. Also stuck a wild bradford pear thorn in my knuckle, that hurt for days.

My wife got stung by one on her nipple...I helped her make it feel better.

I’ve been stung all over before and by as many as twenty something at one time. They all smarted for a few minutes and caused a little swelling, but like you said, 15 minutes or so and all was well. I wonder if this was some Covid Zombie Mutated Yellow Jacket from Hades that stung me.

Had one fly into my ear, deep stinging the whole way. Learned they can only fly forward not backwards. Had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get it out. I was one screwed up white boy for a couple days.

50lb redfish flopped and stuck the rear fin spine about half inch deep in my quad. Unbelievable how sore it got. Ended with it infected too. Bald face hornet behind the knee while fishing at night. Dad and I were flipping banks and I rattled a tree on the bank. Heard a couple things hitting the black light. Turned around to get my flashlight and one hit me behind the knee. 30 min later I could hardly walk or stand.

I ran across a nest, mowing at a horse farm, and got stung on the ear lobe. Man...My ear throbbed like a toothaches for 2 days.

Got stung by two on my upper lip under my nose. Dang lip stove up like like Bubba from Forrest Gump.

I feel that pain. I got hit on the lower lip and again just inside my nostril in the middle section. The lip was bad enough but in the nose was a nightmare for my 10 year old self. I doubt it would be any better now.

I got lit up by a conservative estimate of 20-25 yellow jacket stings last weekend bush hogging, most of them on my head/temple area and the others up and down my right leg. I've never had any kind of anaphylactic reaction before, but I felt really touch and go for about 2 hours. Like I could feel it going thru my body, clammy hands/feet, just overall feeling of something not right. Took a few Benadryl and Tylenol. Once I got thru that part, started to feel better but my whole right side of my body felt like someone had beat me with a baseball bat. My face, eye, leg all swelled up big time, my right eye almost closed up for 2 days. I curled up in the fetal position on the couch for the rest of the day, it was the worst I have felt due to any kind of 1 day sickness that I can recall in recent memory. I have always been able to shake off a sting or two here or there in the past, but really got the best of me this time.
