As bad as wasps are, a house that has had a resident owl in it for the summer is worse. We screw plywood over the inside of the window opening but one of the boards fell off and an owl moved in. I didnt realize how much stuff a owl kills. There was about 6-7" of bones, feathers and goo in the bottom of a 4x4' house.

I think I am going to have to build a new stand next to it, I doubt I could ever get the smell out.

Disgusting is not a strong enough word to describe it.

No owls but A pair of buzzards and their off sffspring did a pretty good job on one of my boxes. Used the chair for a nest.Did not have to worry about scent control in that stand for years.

BearBranch and myself have seen what owls will do when they decide to take over a duck blind. The results can be quite disturbing and we try not to talk about very often rofl

I was in debate on whether or not to burn a shooting house this year from them. The smell made me gag when I opened the door

Those are what I use too. They do a great job.

Can't see cow insecticide ear tags working , waste of time and money for them.

Not sure if the picture will show but that’s what happens when someone forgets to shut the window at the end of hunting season. [Linked Image]

The plan is to fog them out but leave the nest intact so if/when someone decides to hunt this spot without permission they’ll have second thoughts climbing in when they see that monster.
