I lost my best friend 2 1/2 years ago. Had lung cancer and spread to his brain. Prayers sent for your family.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

Swamp, how long was he able to fight it? If you dont mind me asking. And Sorry Not swamp, but my dad lived 3 years after he was given 3 months. However, it didnt make to his brain until the very end. It was less than a month after they found it there. On a good note. He went from driving around living a "normal life" to passing away 6 days later. Three of which Im not sure he knew what was happening. My close family friend had it progress to her brain and lived for about 6 weeks. But she was not aware of her surroundings for 3 weeks.

Got the news Thursday that they’ve found two small spots on my mom’s cerebellum.

I already know the answer to this, but anyone know anyone personally that has had lung cancer and it spread to the brain?? If you do and would not mind chatting with me I would appreciate it. PM's are fine My step brother who worked at Honda and we smoked about the same length and amount, at least TWO packs a day for 45 years. I quit last August with a final ONE cig. I remember pulling in the last draw.

I had a friend get it in his throat. It moved to his lungs then his brain. It was a very sad thing to see. Prayers sent for yall, miracles happen everyday! Mine was the throat and I still remember just like it was 5 minutes ago the doc saying we have got to do a PET scan to make sure it hasn’t spread to your brain and lungs. That thought had never crossed my mind. It was a long 5 days waiting for results. I don’t understand every PET scan I’ve had done they do on Wednesday and I don’t get the results until Monday.
