The other sang thread got off track thought I would show what sang looked like, yes these were the old days , this sang was dug from west Tuscaloosa co to Jasper, mostly in hollows going into the warrior river. I personally don't think this amount could be dug today due to all the timber cutting.

The grandad of one of the guys at our shop goes to WV every year to dig Ginseng. He dug one a couple weeks ago that got his picture in the local paper up there. When fully dried it weighed 8 ounces. That's a big un. The dealer that he sold it to, now has it in a big glass jar, covered in alcohol (probably shine if I had to guess) on the counter at his business. He said that's the biggest root he's ever seen and it's not going to China.

Is that what this is. Found a big patch last week
