Yes I have a 2.5-15x56 illuminated. Very nice scope. I’ve never had a high end Swarovski or similar, but it’s hard for me to see how it could be much clearer or bright. I think the illumination works well too.

You guys are definitely in the know about Meopta. I have been doing freelance work in the optics industry for about 15 years now, with the last 3 working with Meopta. I am completely impressed with what they bring to the consumer. Meopta's Quality Control is so good that it is a rarity that I have to ever help someone out with an optics issue. The MeoStar glass is known for being top tier and truly shines in low light conditions when we need it the most. As you guys have stated, for the money, Meopta is the best option out there and the reason others put Meopta made glass into their products. Feel free to reach out to me with any Meopta questions. I do not do any sales at all. Meopta is also a big supporter of Mil/LE/First Responders.

If the R2 is better than the R1 then it will be in rare company. I’m a big fan of Meopta glass, especially the MeoStar line.

How come Meopta isn't named in the usual optics discussions with Leupolds, Zeiss, Swarovski, Burris, Nightforce, etc?
I've only heard of one other person owning one.

Meostar is a fantastic line. I went with the optica6 line.

Bought my first a few months back. It is fantastic. Only gripe I may have is it’s a bit bulky and heavy
Don't blame me for your bad decision-
