Opening Day ADCNR Youth Hunt in Walker County was awesome. I've been on several throughout NWAL the past 8 years and this one was hard to beat. Turkey Federation fed us, Forestry Commission kept us hydrated, the ADCNR Biologist and Landowners provided the birds. We had plenty of shooting, and the kids had a blast. Contrary to other experiences some may or may not have had, I can guarantee this past Saturday was a quality experience at this one. We even came home with a banded bird. Just wanted to send out a shout out to the folks who made this happen and provide an awesome event! Some folks know how to do it right!
