Coon was a legend pompano fisherman and his pompano jigs were the best. I used to know all the Moore’s and spent many days fishing with them. I tarpon fish with Coon’s son Mike nearly all summer, but he had a stroke in the Spring and was unable to fish. He lives near Tuscaloosa.

I'd love to buy a copy. Please let me know when it is available. My brother is moving there from Reno NV and I'd love to get a copy for him.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I’m having some more printed up. They should be ready in a week or so.

Many decades ago saw some dudes catch a 14 ft. tiger shark off there. They used to allow shark fishing at night and those dudes would catch some monsters. They would leave a loaded 30:30 along the rail by the beach so when they would lead the shark up to the beach they would shoot him and then a guy would wade out into the surf to wrangle the shark to the beach. They somehow winched that 14 footer up hanging from the pier for people to look at. It was huge.

One evening also saw a giant hammerhead swim right under the pier the head looked 4 feet across. Amazing.

I only make it to the gulf once or twice a year but always hit a pier when I'm there, and would love to buy a copy of your book when they come in if you will ship it on my dime.

I'd like a copy too. I was in Destin last week and we were on motorcycles. Checked out several out of the way fishing spots. Couldn't take my rod this time. May have to find a way to get it down there next time.
