Easier to see imperfection with bare shaft tuning. Make bullet holes and you're golden. My$.02 and a dollar will get you a senior size coffee at McDonald's.

I built a paper tuner in my garage for $25. Pvc legs and a cross bar, and bought a 25 yard roll of painters paper and just pull it down when I run out of room. Have a big 24x24 target behind it in the garage right now and try to shoot 30 arrows 2x per day with a bare shaft.

My bow is tuned....BUT I'm working on torque problems and that's the best way I can practice and know if I'm doing it right (that I know of).
