Reyn OP 10 point Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,251 N. Alabama	Shot these groups back to back from 72yds. Felt good doing it back to back. 3inch dot. I rarely shoot under 43yds. Most is at 55yds. Makes the closer shots easier. Gr1 Gr2 Gr3 G r4 All shots

On a trip to Illinois, these guys were shooting walnuts off the top of fence post at 50yds consistently. It got my attention, especially after passing on a couple of nice bucks outside my normal comfort range. I now practice at 50, and it sure makes those 30 and closer shots seem much easier. I just recently picked up a G5 Optix XR sight with the floater pin on the bottom so that I can stretch out a little further (easier) with my shooting and also to avoid shooting pin gaps at longer distances. It seems like a real well made sight, but it doesn't quite have enough adjustment to get the floater as high as I want it to be. Having a little plate made for my bow so I can move the whole sight up a little higher so the floater will come into play at 40 yards and further and I'm keeping only 2 fixed position pins instead of the 3 that it comes with. Hopefully, it will work out OK. What kinda sight are you using? "The only reason I shoot a 3.5" shell for turkeys is because they don't make a 4" one." - t123winters

Reyn OP 10 point Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,251 N. Alabama	A Vital gear 1 pin slider is the sight i'm using.I have it set at 25yds bottomed out so 25 and under i don't have to adjust. I did shoot one last year at 30 and just aimed a tad high.
