Then collards but you need to wait till it frosts on collards. Cabbage for fresh sourkraut, about the easiest thing in the world to make. Romaine lettuce is great. If you can get head lettuce to make a head, it is much better than what you get at the grocery store. Ill plant around the middle of september or first of october.
