In all honesty I never thought the ribs, especially the sauce would hold up to the hype. It was beyond my my expectations.

Im curious just how close that sauce is to Rodney Scott’s sauce.

Tuscaloosa or the original in Northport I was told. It’s a hole in the wall pit BBQ joint.

Archibald's sauce is my long time favorite, since I first tried it back in 1999. Since I'm so far away from there now, I have friends that will pick up a gallon of it for me.

I'm not familiar with Rodney Scott's sauce, but if it is confirmed to be similar, I'm gonna need to try it.

I haven't eaten there. I've always wanted to try it, but it's too close to enemy territory.

Been eating it for years. Heavy vinegar and mustard sauce. Idk if their BarBQ and ribs are that good or just the sauce. I could eat sauce and loaf bread.

Original Northport location only, the Tuscaloosa one sucks.

I literally ate 4 pieces of bread dipped in the sauce.

Archibalds are the best. I do not think their sauce is like Scott’s at all. Scott’s is more like JimnNicks. The sleeper rib place in Ttown is Thomas Rib Shack over by central west. Don’t go at night

Thanks
I’ve never had Scott’s sauce but figured it might be close or kinda hoped so.

Archibalds sells sauce for $20 a gallon. It is my goto sauce. Several friends will split it and each get a quart, keeps great in a mason jar. That way is doesnt get old, not that I would let it get old....

Also if you dont want a gallon they sell quarts, but they are in a styrofoam cup. If you buy it that way bring a mason jar to put it in. It will inevitably leak and get all over your truck.

Yea I bought a half gallon jug. That quart cup scared me a little for travel.
Done drank/ate a third of it.

I doubt it, they dont strike me as the tech savvy. But I could send you some. PM me the address and what size you want.

Try BAMA bbq on hwy 82 west in Northport for ribs. Get Archibald’s sauce and BAMA ribs. Perfection!
