I’m so tired of my current jumper cables. Seems like they have no power in them. What kind do you use? I want something strong that can crank the tractors when the battery is dead.

I had the same problem a while back, its about the size of the cable. The one's that you get from Walmart or in one of those roadside emergency kits are too skinny and don't pull enough juice, they wires get hot fast. Fortunately my neighbor had some fat wire cables that did the job. Go to your local auto shop and find the heavy duty variety, it should say for tractors and large trucks on the box.

Larger cable = less resistance. Best I ever had my dad made out of cables he scavenged out of a KC-135. They were in my truck when a sonofabitch stole it and not in it when I got it back.

NOCO boost. I charge for around a day or so via USB. Then carry it around. I've jumped plenty of vehicles off using that little thing. I'll never carry jumper cables again, plus I don't need someone else's battery. Bought mine on Amazon.

Yep. I have a total of 4 now. I picked up 2 a few weeks ago during prime days on Amazon.

I made a set out of welding cable and heavy duty clamps. Cost was about $50 to $60 about 20 years ago, probably $100 now!

Build Your own with heavy welding lead and good clamps. The heavier and shorter the wire, the more current they will carry.

Y’all saying this little thing can jump? I’ve never been able to trust them.

It’ll work. No sense in not carrying it with jumper cables also. It’s often tough to get two vehicles close enough to jump, like a dead tractor in a barn. This thing is great for that.

250-350amp light duty
400-600amp med duty
800amp heavy duty

Just remember you have to jump from a good battery. If try to jump from a 400apm battery you will only get 400amp if the battery is hot.

I carry this one after watching a tow truck driver jumping several things with it. I jumped a diesel truck with mine before.
