I have a 1978 Belgium made BAR 308 that I’m debating on selling. This is a hunting rifle and does have some imperfections in the stock. I have no idea what it’s worth and figured someone on here could point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated!

Ahh a '78 not '68 , assembled in Portugal , makes a difference for collectors not for users. I'm gonna say about $600 +/- 100 depending on condition.

I bought a couple of Safari Grade 270's and gave 700 for each. They are in mint condition with not a scratch on them. I bought them for my grandkids, so I will be giving them away.
In all seriousness, 600 is a fair price and can go up or down depending on the condition. I really used to be a BAR man, all I hunted with for over 30 years. They do have a good following, but they are heavy and have good accuracy.
I can't stand a thief.
