So the average wait time for a Eform1 is 30-60days to build a firearm or suppressor, but I filed my 223 suppressor on Dec 11th and my 30 cal on 3-6-21 and been waiting on the FBI to complete my background check, the same one as buying a gun which I have purchased 3 during this time, but it took 6 months. I reached out to great Congressman Gary Palmer about 2 weeks ago and he said with the new ATF director coming in he doesn’t think they are doing any approvals. Well this morning both came in approved, so the squeaky wheel got the grease. I contacted the FBI multiple times and they are such asses, they where rude, I told them they are not doing me a favor approving the stamps it is my right, our Goverment has truly forgot who they work for. Congressman Palmer helped me with a tax audit years ago it was dealing with Obama care it was a mess, that gentleman has my vote for life, because he knows who put him in DC.

I just got a form 1 back in 24 days last week. Looking at another forum seems like they are slowing down, most was reporting 30-40 days now on approval.

I can't get thru the background check even with a UPIN. Still get delayed. Ever since I bought an AR-15, I get delayed.

One time I bought my son a .22, before the UPIN. Get delayed. When the approval came in, I went into walmart to pick it up. I told the manager I wanted to buy another 22. He runs me and sure enough, delayed. So he calls the FBI, and starts giving them grief. He was like, what's the deal, I just got his approval to purchase on another firearm? They were like hold please..... approved.

I have emailed them about it too. They just cite they are doing record numbers of background checks..... freaking wish the sheriffs would get together on pistol permits so we could go back to just showing that and a drivers license and bypass the whole FBI.

Oh Man... You are on somebody's list now fer sure.

Everyone is on the list, I won’t waiver my rights, Goverment works for the people if they know it or not. Just do your Job!
