Well there's still Koch, Tyson, Sanderson, Perdue, JLB, Smithfield, Cargill, Sysco, Hormel, Con-agra, AFG, and the list goes on.

Largest in the world, based in Brazil IIRC. Probably supplies the chitty beef used to make patties for McDonald's, burger king and other crappy fast food joints.

My supply chain involved magnum calibers, sharp knives, game bags and a big freezer.

Well there's still Koch, Tyson, Sanderson, Perdue, JLB, Smithfield, Cargill, Sysco, Hormel, Con-agra, AFG, and the list goes on. There is Smithfield, Tyson and Jbs. Everything is pretty much owned by the big three. Sysco doesn't process or package anything. Just because someone has their name on a box doesn't mean they have much to do with it.

Ribeye 23.99 at local grocery.😳 Damn. I paid $15 per pound at the University meat lab and I thought that was painful. But then again it’s pretty awesome the cow lived it’s life within a couple miles of where it was born, lived, slaughtered and was ate.

My freezer was still working when I checked yesterday so my meat supply chain is fine until next hunting season.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Nice big herd of beef to the north of me and have our property has plenty of fine young calves running around on it. The farm that surrounds us is run slap over with hogs. Got a couple freezers that are well stocked with venison. We good down here.

Sold a few calves a week ago........range was $1.20 to $1.35 per pound for them. The farmers ain't getting rich, kinda like the timber growers.
