They went ahead a paid for the framing packet. Cost was 28K over the quote they got after Thanksgiving. Fixing to be a lot of work for a little for the next 6 months for me.

I just don't see the Lumber prices dropping a whole lot, Folks are paying 300 percent more (some is 400 percent or more) for Lumber and not even batting an eye. I have one more bed section they didn't send enough bolts for. Hopefully I can get enough lumber cut in the next couple weeks to build a shed for it. ggg

I heard their builder , his dad , that their trusses would be $10,000 more than originally figured ? I'm volunteering as a gopher to help speed up the build and maybe save them a little money .
