Over the weekend through today, we got 3 coons and a possum.
Still nothing on my dirt hole sets and not a fresh track around them. Still haven't caught a coyote in my short time trying to. Not sure if there just isn't many around or I just suck. Never had one dug up or missed either. Do y'all refresh the bait in the hole or just let it soak? If they’re not messed up then leave them alone A dogs nose will smell anything in the dirthole no matter how long it’s been there I’ve have sites dug up months after I pulled sets

^^^ What he said
It probably took me 6 weeks to catch my first one and I hav gotten better by listening to guys on here. I noticed - my coyotes are not on my roads every single day - they make rounds is what my camera shows - they may come thru 2 straight days then not hit that road again for several days
I watch trap catching u tube and read lot of stuff PollWoll has in here and what Deadeye said and watch what they use for bait and lure

If they offered a discount on hunting fees, I bet we would see an amazing impact on reducing predators and improving turkey and deer populations!

The explosion of the predator population is a product of our G&F admin over regulation instead of conservation The practice is now to squeeze ever but of $$$ out of the hunter and I do believe the trapper is next
