I don’t typically fish in muddy water but I have the day off tomorrow and plan to give it a shot. What’s y’alls tips for bass in muddy conditions. Will be somewhere on the coosa between lay and Jordan.

Big loud chartreuse crank baits or spinner baits. Had good luck flipping pumpkin magic speed craw with pinchers dipped in garlic/chartreuse dye

I went to fish a tournament one morning after a huge rain. Think it was in Vienna. Anyway, me and my buddy said we’d wait till daylight and see what the water looked like. It was like chocolate milk with pieces of wood everywhere. We said Hell no and went back home. I heard later that it took almost 30 lbs to win it. Said people were throwing spinnerbaits and bumping wood and wearing them out. FYI, but I still don’t like when it’s that bad.
