Can’t remember if I posted this or not I cooked them in late February. These are great if you haven’t had them. Cut the points off with scissors, half it, scoop the choke out, then I used a steam pot till they were tender crisp, seasoned and took to the grill. Any sauce you like to go with it.

They are good. We steam them, then pour lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and salt and pepper on them and then grill them. They don't last long.

The heart is the reward for going through all the leaves and there is a technique to eating the leaves. I’ve seen people toss a leaf in their mouth and try to chew it up. Lol

Dang they are some count. Like ticks mentioned is how we do them. There is a technique, right or wrong I pull the meat off the leaf with my teeth.
