Mbrock Fancy Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 8,127 Right behind you	That’s a full grown gobbler. Boff my son killed a bird in TX with 1” spurs and a full fan and he had a 3/8” very thin beard. We couldn’t even find it at first. Some gobblers just don’t have them, although it’s rare.

Seen beard rot, but I'm not seeing anything here. Maybe he got in a fight and had it pulled off? Maybe old and his hair is falling out like mine. Maybe I can examine him for answers. TDog93 Booner Joined: Jun 2020 Posts: 11,024 Earth	Yea he full grown - sometimes they can get beard Rot and just hav 2-7 inch beard and I am guessing they can also hav no beard I called a few spurless birds - my buddy killed a monster w like 1 1/2 inch spurs that had like 3 inch beard - beard rot - one of the toughest birds I ever hunted had either no beard or a Jake beard (I did not see a beard) called him in different times - shot his subordinates each time - one had 1 1/4 inch spur and the other bird had 1 5/16 - never killed that beardless or Jake beard bird I always shoot a bird w full fan Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever
