Anybody running one of these tractors? Considering buying one (cab model), and looking for some feedback. What say ye, Aldeer experts?

I bought a mx6000 last year.. it’s a great tractor and does all I need.. But it has no rear remotes and the cheaper seat.. I wished I’d stepped up to a different model honestly

M series if you can swing it. The financing won't be terribly different between the two and the M series is just a better tractor in the same hp range.

I have a 7040 and love it!

I have the MX5400. First time i disked the plots with the hog rooting in them, I was pricing an air seat as soon as I got phone signal.
Other than the seat, have been pleased so far

Need to stay compact. So the M series, like the 5 series JD....too big. That is how I ended up looking at the Kubota MX. The Deere 4066 cab is waaaay expensive.

Thanks for the reply, Bsivley1978. Yah, noticed lots of things that were not standard. I added 1 set rear remotes, armrests for the seat, and rear work lights when I quoted a MX6000. None of those things were standard on the MX. Also added 3rd function on the loader.

That has nothing to do with model, just add them on. You can get up to four sets. Three in the rear a another up front for a grapple

They are great ttactors. I had a 4060 grand L which is the high end model of compact Kubota tractors. It rode ruff even with an air ride seat. The air ride seat is cloth which is a whole lot better on the hiney than the vinyl standard seat. I think you will be very happy with either machine. The condenser for the A.C. is in the t of the cab shell. It is inclosed in a plastic shell which is difficult to get to. It will need to be cleaned and it's a pain. The hydraulic filters were difficult to change as well. Those are the only real complaints about the design of the tractor I had.

It be's that way sometimes.

Had an MX6000 now for about a year. Absolutely love it. Does everything I need it to. No complaints on the seat either.

Got a mx5400 08', bought it in 10(from a coworker), as of today basic maintenance is all i have done to it. Wish it had a few options as mentioned but for me it's not a deal breaker. The ability to remove the bucket for forks is probably my biggest issue but in 11 years I have overcome every obstacle so far.

I have a mx5200 and it hasn’t let me down yet.

Only issues I’ve had with it is a small hydraulic leak in the FEL. I’ve only found myself limited by weight, not power.
