Make your standard dark gravy and add a couple cans of diced tomatoes and let it simmer down. I like to add black pepper and usually use the seasoned flour of whatever I am frying to make the gravy. It is hard to beat with fried deer steak or turkey breast, rice and biscuits.

fry up some bacon. use the grease to make a gravy (like making sausage gravy). add in some home canned tomatoes if you have them; if not, a good canned tomato will do. use lots of fresh cracked black pepper. serve with the bacon and definitely over hot biscuits!
