Will bucks with an earlier drop have more time for velvet growth or do they mostly all start new growth at same time?

earlier drop, earlier start, earlier stop.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Yep. Doesn’t really impact their ability to get a jump start or get ahead or grow more antler. They’ll just start earlier and finish earlier. I’ve seen a few through the years stop growing and shed velvet by late August and the first week of October. Others hold on until mid October. They’ll usually hold close to the same time frame annually.
