SImmons had some 8lb jugs of cfe223 on the shelf if anyone is in need. Cost more than it used to but its available. NO primers that I saw, NO automatic pistol powder and not a lot of popular bullets. They did have some big bore revolver bullets on the shelf (44,45 ETC)

Cfe223 is a pretty good option for some loads now that there is nothing out there!

I have been using it for several years for 55gr 223. It does very well with them and meters very consistent. It does NOT do as well a Varget for larger pills in my 223's. If I wasnt flush with H4895 and Varget I would try it in 308. They (internet folks) say that its not a very temp stable powder but I have not had any issues in my loads with it.

I've had great luck with it in 223 and 308.makes cleaning barrel a little different since there is no copper fouling to get out just end up cleaning carbon from barrel with gun oil and bore brush.i'll still use copper solvent but can't get much copper out and seems to get rid of what copper was in there although they say it doesn't really do that?good stuff and gets top velocity so I bought a big jug
