I am planning on taking a week off work and hunting hard and the thought came across my mind that I have zero rain gear. I won't be spending the cash on Sitka gear but what do yall use and what has or hasn't worked well for you? I am looking for something lightweight that I can use late season too. Thanks in advance.

This is the correct answer.

I also have a nwtf poncho I like because it covers your vest and gear and has great airflow so you don’t get too hot.

If it’s not cold, just get wet. I end up sweating so much in rain gear, I still get soaked.

The gamekeeper cruiser set is reasonably priced and works well. It’s not any more breathable than any of the others but I don’t reckon rain gear is supposed to breathe very much.
