I try not to kill all 3 and put at least 2 toward my turkey TAGS

The number you decide to kill should be more based on the deer population on your property and the surrounding area rather than just a random number that was decided upon based on how many the public thinks is an acceptable amount for each person to kill. That's kinda my point with the question I asked. Everybody think "3" is the magic number now and they use it despite differences in population densities.....

Yes your right and I can manage our place better than chucky...and that's why I don't follow limits...we wouldn't have hardly any deer if I killed the legal limit of does which I haven't killed in many years and I still see more bucks than does

So many people would object to reducing gun days and going to a more bow hunting oriented system but it would manage our deer for us. I am all for everyone having the right to make their own decisions but the problem is that many hunters dont really understand things well enough to make sound decisions.....They simply take what they can or what they are allowed......"3"....

I did. And on 3 mature ones. Made less than 15 sits as well. Also killed 2 does.

I did. First time ever killing more than two in a year. And it was all with a bow on deer I had on cameras and set out to kill. That means more to me than the tagging out part.

After 7 my freezers are full and I quit going start of Jan.

Have only tagged out once since the 3 buck rule. I killed as many as 5 before that but I prefer the family do the killing now.

I saw 23 myself and only killed one. way more satisfying that killing dinks

Tagged Out? Nope. I left that up to my neighbors I think all 6 of them tagged out on their 200 acres. If any of you know of a lease coming up next to where you are hunting let me know I'll pass along the info to them.

No. If I can get 3 gooduns I will, 2 so far. Broke out the crossbow last week for a little doe management at the house.

I tagged out on 12/21/20 - 2 bucks w cross bow and one w muzzleloader - solid Bama deer - very fortunate season

Been many years before w out shooting a buck - usually let lot walk

For the first time since AL put in the 3 buck limit, I actually killed 3 bucks.

First was a decent buck. I was happy to kill him.
The second was larger than the first and is getting a place on the wall, so I was quite happy to kill him as well.

I had decided I would not pull the trigger again.

That is, until I had an nice, mature buck step out that I knew from trail cam pics to be a good buck with pretty bad pedicle damage. So... he gone.
